Commercial Property Solicitor
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Lawyer to join our highly experienced Commercial Property Team based in Hertford with Flexibility to WFH
Education & Professional Qualifications required:
Qualified Solicitor or CILEX
Professional Experience required
An ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor with 1 to 3 Years PQE, although newly qualified, with relevant pre-qualification experience would be considered.
Outline of role:
The role involves dealing with a full range of Landlord and Tenant work as well as property acquisitions and sales for company clients, property support on Company Commercial matters and with appropriate support from the senior solicitors in the team Development work from site acquisitions involving conditional contracts options and overage, finance through to preparation for disposition.
Personal Skills:
Organised, technically able and commercially minded. A problem solver comfortable with communicating issues and potential solutions, both to experienced commercial clients and professionals and to the private client selling part of their garden for development.
Willing with support to actively promote and develop themselves, the team and the firm
Good computer skills, ability to be self-sufficient and excellent client care skills

Paralegal – Tax & Trusts – Ware
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a bright, hardworking and enthusiastic Graduate or Paralegal to join our busy Tax & Trusts team.
Candidates should have a real interest in Tax & Trust work. Some previous experience in a similar capacity would be ideal, but not essential.
Duties (under appropriate supervision) to include:
- Day to day administration of Personal Injury trusts
- first port of call to trustees / beneficiaries
- dealing with trust distribution requests; basic queries relating to the trust; processing withdrawal of funds from trust accounts and portfolios; liaising with trustees and financial advisors; settling external invoices relating to services to the trust; drawing up basic trust documents (trustee resolutions / deeds of retirement and appointment any other documents needed)
- Administration surrounding the setting up of P I Trusts
- Attending trust review meetings with a financial advisor
- Processing information required for Tax returns
- Assisting with the administration surrounding the running and management of other various other types of Trusts.
The successful candidate will be / have:
- Organised, methodical with a good eye for detail
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Good IT skills
