My Professional Background
I started my career in law quite late in life. After having my son, I went to work at a local law firm and trained for four years to become a Legal Executive. I specialised in civil litigation.
I joined Attwaters in 2009 and initially worked in the Clinical Negligence department. Later, I moved to the Dispute Resolution team and Personal Injury department where I have remained ever since.
Achievements / Accreditations
- Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx)
About me
I was born in Harlow and have lived in the local area throughout my life. I am a proud Mum to my son and am now a Grandma too.
In 1999, I joined the Rotary Club of Bishop’s Stortford; a group of professional people who come together to serve their community, whether at home or abroad. I was their first lady member and have served a term as President of the club, which was a great honour.
I love to cook and like most foods, but my favourite type of food is Mediterranean. I enjoy a variety of tipples, depending on my mood, the season and the event. If I were to go to a desert island, I would definitely take my dog as my companion – he never argues with me, he is a great listener, is always pleased to see me and asks for nothing in return except a cuddle, a walk and the odd scooby snack and his meals.
